Goal: Create a one minute social media post showing Dior's top make-up artist quickly making over a top fashion model using the latest products backstage during a fast paced runway show. With 3 Dog Pack Pictures
Working with the marketing masterminds behind the FX Network and Marvel Entertainment's new hit sci-fi X-MEN related TV show LEGION, I created this promotional time-lapse video of the mural art for the show being hand painted by artist. The mural was 80' x 50' on the side of a large apartment building at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Vine Street in the heart of Hollywood, California. I used four cameras running for 4 days stationed on different balconies across the street at a hotel. The video also demonstrates that pedestrians that find the mural locations across the US can use the augmented reality app Blippar to download information about the TV show. The branding agency was Industria Creative. The mural was designed by artist David Flores. The mural was installed and hand painted by Old City Artist.

House of Cops - UCLA Police Dept Timelapse
After being hired by the UCLA Police Department to create an new cadet recruitment video, we decided to do something a little different than the normal corporate style project. Collaborating with director Brian L. Tan, we decided it would be fun to make a parody of the opening credit title sequence of the popular web show, House of Cards staring Kevin Spacey. On that show the timelapse opening titles set up the basic premise of the politically driven show, immovable institutions in a fast moving city, Washington DC. The emphasis of our video, was slightly different, but it would be to show potential new hires a professional working environment inside a respectable institution full of pride and discipline . Using linear camera movements and digital push-ins, we created an iconic look for the inner workings of the police department. I feel this is a great example of taking a corporate style marketing project and adding an enjoyable popular cultural reference to expand the audience appeal. Please enjoy House of Cops.....
